With more than two decades of international experience in data privacy, McDougall will oversee ZoomInfo’s compliance function.

Most recently, Simon was Deputy Commissioner for the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO), the U.K.’s independent authority to uphold information rights, promoting openness by public bodies and data privacy for individuals. At the ICO, he established new technology policy and innovation functions, directed work in areas such as artificial intelligence, adtech, and competition, and led its response to data usage in the U.K. to address the COVID-19 pandemic.

Derek SmithChief Strategy Officer at ZoomInfo

Derek is responsible for the processes and technologies that ZoomInfo’s research team uses to create and update the data in our industry-leading sales intelligence platform.

Prior to ZoomInfo, Derek worked at Major League Baseball on research, technology strategy, and special projects. Derek has a B.S. in Applied Mathematics from the University of Colorado, a M.S. in Predictive Analytics from Northwestern University, and a J.D. from the Ohio State University.
